Cut from solid cherrywood, the brass tightening knob threads through the handle and blade guard to retract or extend the razor, placing the weight of the lame at an optimal fulcrum for accuracy. Baker's can fine-tune blade exposure based on their grip and scoring angle, and the tool adapts to you rather than the other way around. It's also compact, ambidextrous, and includes a 5-pack of blades. Hand wash only. Occasional wood conditioning recommended.
